Terri Wyllie, RYT
Namaste,
I have enjoyed having Yoga as part of my life for the last 25+ years.
As a student, I value so much all the time I have spent with teachers who have
shared so much with me.
About Terri Wyllie
According to the great "teacher's teacher" T. Krishnamacharya, yoga must be adapted to the individual, not the individual adapted to the style of yoga. For your yoga practice to be most fruitful, it must be in harmony with your body type, age, health, and even cultural background. Yoga has evolved in the West in a way that promotes adapting the individual to some standardized system of Yoga. Originally, the reverse was true. My personal teaching style honours the philosophy of Krishnamacharya.
In my experience teaching to small groups, I have been able to adapt yoga postures for many people of all ages. Please come to participate in an individual practice, that is not measured or compared with the practice of the person on the mat next to you. Making Hatha Yoga a pleasure for one to practice on their own is my main intention while teaching.
Everyone, from beginners to experienced practitioners, is invited to attend.
Testimonials
"The great thing about Terri's yoga classes is that they are suited to all levels of fitness, from beginner to more advanced. Terri shows you the correct and safe way to perform the various postures and encourages you to challenge yourself as you grow stronger and more flexible. Terri's warm, relaxed attitude made me feel very at ease as a newcomer to her studio. I would recommend her classes to anyone who is contemplating trying yoga for the first time."

"Before I joined your class, I thought, ya, I walk the dog, ya I get in and outta the car....enough exercise for me. Since I joined your yoga class I've really enjoyed it, but I think it's because of you that I keep coming back and continuing to be dedicated. You have a great ability to inspire others and get them excited about doing something good for themselves. Your laid back and ever encouraging approach to instructing makes me leave the class feeling good about myself. "
